2017 Ford F-150 Raptor Preview

The all new F-150 Raptor adds room for passengers and gear with the addition of a SuperCrew configuration along with the previously announced SuperCab option.  This #Raptor is the the toughest combination of all new purpose built high strength steel frame with a high strength, military-grade, aluminum alloy body helps save more than 500 lbs of weight.  The use of advanced materials is expected to improve the power to weight ratio for improved off-road agility.  

You will find that this is the smartest Raptor ever with all new high-output 3.5L EcoBoost V6 engine has more horsepower and torque than the current Raptor's 411 horsepower and 434 lb-ft of torque that was provided by the previous 6.2L V8 engine.  As the most capable Ford Raptor it has been redesigned with larger Fox Racing shocks with more suspension travel and pair with the BF Goodrich 35 inch all terrain T/A KO2 tires and all new Terrain Management System help Raptor handle the toughest terrain you can find.  

The exterior of the Ford Raptor was inspired by the Ford Performance heritage on off road racing.  The new Raptor exterior has chiseled looks that are reminiscent of those found in Trophy Trucks - the most powerful and fastest off road trucks.  

While the interior of the Raptor has also had an upgrade with three color material levels including steering wheel mounted paddle shifters and auxiliary switches that are mounted out of the drivers way in the roof of the cab similar to a fighter plane to control aftermarket equipment such as accessory lights.  

The all new four wheel drive torque on demand transfer case manages power distribution between the front and rear wheels; combines the best attributes of clutch driven on demand all wheel drive with durable mechanical locking four wheel drive.  The Terrain Management System enables you to select six preset modes to optimize driving dynamics environment conditions.  The preset modes are:

Normal Mode: for everyday driving
Street Mode: for higher performance on-road driving
Weather Mode: for rain snow or ice
Mud & Sand Mode: Muddy and Sandy Terrain
Baja Mode: High Speed Desert Running
Rock Mode: Low Speed Rock Crawling

The Raptor includes many calibration changes to its powertrain, driveline, traction control, ABS and Advance Trac stability control system for optimal performance.  Advanced LED lighting and the available 360 degree camera technology contribute to improved visibility when driving on trails or on streets during day or night.

Ford Year End Sellathon on Now thru January 3rd 2016 at Ford of Ventura

From today thru January 3rd 2016 Ford is holding the much anticipated annual Year End Sellathon.  Ford Truck Sales don't come along everyday and some wait all year to take advantage of this sale.

Ford of Ventura's Year End Sellathon offers the best prices on Mustangs for Sale and F-150 Trucks on Sale.  This is the last call for the 2015 model year Ford vehicles.  Ford is now offering an extra $1000 in trade-assistance cash when you trade in a vehicle for a new 2015 model like the 2015 F-150 truck.  You must trade in a 1995 or newer vehicle in order to qualify for the $1,000 Year End Sellathon trade assistance cash on the purchase of a new 2015 Ford from Ford of Ventura.  The Trade Assistance Cash is is available on eligible 2015 vehicles: Fiesta, Focus, C-Max, Fusion, Edge, Expedition, F-150, SuperDuty, Taurus, and 3026/2016 Escape.  Even though these offers are not available on the Raptor edition F-150's it is a great deal.

Miami Florida hosted the 2015 Annual NAMAD Membership Meeting

On Thursday July 9th 2015, Sil Gonzales received the National Association of Minority Automobile Dealers (NAMAD) Distinguished Service Award at the 2015 NAMAD Annual Membership Meeting in Miami, Florida.  

The Distinguished Service Award is given to those whose actions speak louder than words.  Commitment to a cause even in the face of difficulty is a rare attribute in business these days.  The members of NAMAD choose to recognize those who do what they say they are going to do.  Following through with commitments is an important part of achieving success as many members of the National Association of Minority Dealers know.

The Distinguished Service Award was given to Silvestre Gonzales in recognition of his courageousness, integrity and reliability in assisting other ethnic minority dealers to succeed in the auto industry.  Silvestre “Sil” has more than 40 years’ experience managing businesses, banks, and development companies for both the public and private sectors.  That vast knowledge and experience served him well as he transitioned to the Automotive Business - growing a number of successful private cap franchises.  He has been recognized by his peers – nominated for Time Quality Dealer of the Year (2002) and was recognized as a “Sam Walton Business Leader”.   He has always been an advocate for Diversity within the Automotive Industry and has lobbied on behalf of that cause.  He has been on the Boards of the DaimlerChyrsler Minority Association, as well as the Ford Minority Associations and has been a leader within the National Association of Minority Car Dealers (NAMAD).   He has served on a variety of Dealer Ad Councils for both domestic and imports.  Currently he is President of Ford of Ventura located in Ventura, CA and Gresham Automotive Group, Inc.  Dba Gresham Ford located in Gresham, OR.    Mr. Gonzales has also been recognized as one of the elite club of President’s Award Winning Dealerships (2009, 2011, and 2012) within Ford Motor Company.   He is a member of Rotary International and within his club has been honored as Rotarian of the Year.  Sil is also married with four children.

Funding education goes further at Ford of Ventura during the Drive 4 UR School Event, taking place Sunday August 9th, from 9 A.M. - 5 P.M. at the dealership located at 3440 East Main Street in Ventura across from the Pacific View Mall.  

Get behind the wheel of a 2015 Fusion, Focus, Explorer, F-150, or any other new Ford vehicle, and Ford Motor Company will help donate $20 with every test-drive to our partner school, Foothill Technology High School.

Drive 4 UR School is a national promotion sponsored by Ford Motor Company. Our goal is to bring in at least 300 people for a test drive. If we reach our goal, Ford will give a total of$6,000 to Foothill High School in Ventura.  

We need your help to raise all $6,000 and pull it off this fundraiser for our children.
